We helped Rouse Electrical win the lighting refurbishment for Ward and Burke’s new offices with our rapid design service and product availability to help them meet a tight deadline.
Part of a complex that also includes warehousing, the office area needed refurbishing to meet their corporate needs. They employed Talbutt Interiors for the office design and fit out, who subcontracted the lighting design and installation to Rouse Electrical.
Lighting Design
A key part of the project was to provide a compliant and aesthetic lighting design and installation. We proposed a design to meet CIBSE guidelines and help create a welcoming workplace that aids concentration and productivity.
The client approved the design, which includes both the general and accent lighting plus a fully compliant emergency lighting system.
Fast fit project
From approval, the offices were refurbished in just 8 weeks and the final fit out of the lighting was squeezed into an even tighter deadline. Co-ordinated deliveries through the local Leeds Edmundson branch, clear itemisation of where to install each product and quick fit connectors in our fittings helped Rouse Electrical meet the deadline.
The project features our new Lustre ceiling light which has a distinctive concentric circle design. This creates an appealing decorative light effect for an extra wow factor, while its wide 120° beam angle provides ample illumination for the area. The installation also includes our Thea Pro, and emergency lighting products.
From Enquiry to Design to Delivery
Close collaboration was vital for this project. We had to liaise with Talbutt Interiors and Rouse Electrical to understand the brief and layout, suggest fittings, meet technical requirements and then design a compliant and aesthetic lighting installation. We then co-ordinated deliveries with Edmundsons and Rouse Electrical so that they met a tight installation deadline.
