Blue Tower – Office lighting
We have helped the Blue Tower offices in media city Salford achieve almost 70% energy savings for their communal and back-office area lighting.
The project replaced fluorescent lighting in this 20-storey office block. It includes lighting for the main reception area, corridors, toilets and the general landlord areas.
Wholesalers G A Nicholas from Salford designed the lighting scheme and supplied more than 700 fittings.
Faster lighting payback
Talking about the project, Elliot Nixon, Lighting Designer from G A Nicholas said: “We specified Collingwood Lighting because their lighting produces a superior lumens per Watt than other fittings. This offers the landlords even better energy savings and a reduced payback time of just over 2 years.”
Contractors also integrated the lighting into DALI and a central emergency lighting system.
